Summer's End

As the school summer vacations are coming to an end, last minute fun time is squeezed into every possible moment. Beaches are still filled with local families, big and small, here in central Florida. A few tourists are enjoying the hot long summer days, which last usually well into September, before cooler weather arrives.
The above haiku was inspired by that image of last minute family moments, as the reality of school and work takes over, and the innocence of the playful summer days fades away.
