I write because.....

I write because I want to live up to the potential you see in me.
I write because I want my words make you feel the way the words of others make me feel.
I write to penetrate the silence, not to make it go away but to enrich it with the possibilities of imagination.
I write because I need to write, a need that is as deep as breathing, as important as moving and as pleasurable as love.
I write because I am a Writer, just as much as I am a Woman and as I am a Witch. I can not separate myself from writing because it is not what I do but who I am when nothing else is left.
